USA as a country of natural wonders

The United States of America is the world's 3rd or 4th largest nation by total area. If we include only land area, the United States is 3rd in size behind such superpower countries as Russia and China, just ahead of Canada. This country stretches from the Atlantic Ocean to the Pacific Ocean and from Canada to Gulf of Mexico. There is the largest state in its area, it is Alaska. Separated by Canada, it touches the Pacific and Arctic Oceans. The 50th state Hawaii occupies an archipelago in the Pacific Ocean, southwest of North America. With a few exceptions, such as the territory of Guam and the westernmost parts of Alaska, the main part of the country lies in the western hemisphere. The US has a large and profitable tourism industry that serves millions of international and domestic tourists. Tourism in this country is usually promoted at the state and local level, though the federal government also tries to promote tourism itself, and publishes visa entry requirements. As a rule tourists come to see the U.S. to admire natural wonders, cities, historic centers and landmarks, and gambling venues.
